part two: the singapura shopping experience

after breakfast, we were off to Bugis Junction. well, the girls were, to be exact. the guys were to be at nearby Sim Lim for electronics and gadgets galore (as the story usually is).that's us, minus gino the photographer, at the MRT station going to Bugis. at day two, we're still roaring and raring to go, slight limp and tight, aching muscles included.
i don't remember Bugis to be this beautiful. maybe because it was raining hard then, 3 years ago, which made the whole place look a bit bleak?
but really, it IS beautiful - the whole architectural design is just great. airy and bright, it is a surprisingly welcome and quiet break from suffocating, noisy orchard.
after Bugis, we decided to check out Raffles City Shopping Center, another lovely but rather upscale mall in upscale Raffles District. it wasn't any surprise, therefore, that we weren't able to buy anything from any of the shops.
come to think of it, at the rate we are going with spending here, here, here and there, and traveling here and there, we probably aren't even close to saving...
wahaaaat? am i supposed to speak just for myself?

Nah, I went there alone, I like to travel light. Besides, I always stay with my relatives so I don't have to pay for hotel accomodations, nakakahiya if I bring along a companion. :-)
It's cool when you have Uncles, aunts and cousins in HK, S'pore, and M'sia. Libre na and accomodations and foods, hahaha. Although I do have to reciprocate when they come to visit us here. *sigh* -

bugis! hahahaha we stay at intercon vina ur pix just reminds me of my singapore days. hahaha havent got it for a looooooooong time.
