crossing the bridge and getting there

we'll just cross the bridge when we get there.

that's ricky's favorite motto, according to yours truly. he has been repeatedly uttering this in a span of 8 months, the latest of which was just this morning.

it's not about us or our relationship. we are a done deal, so to speak. according to him, he knew from the moment he saw me that i was the one. that was six years ago. erm, i knew that, too - around 5.4 years ago.

we consider this year our year. all our prayers have been answered - all at the same time.

thus, we'll just cross the bridge when we get there.

we've already crossed one bridge, but i could only go as far as to be with him crossing it, and watch him from afar as he realizes our dreams. all i can do is patiently wait for him till he returns and we cross back, together.

it's a sacrifice to be apart, but this is nothing compared to the wonderful future that awaits both of us.

there's another bridge to cross, i know, but that will never separate us. the more bridges we cross, together or separately, the more our love shines brightly.

we'll always have each other to go back to. we are each other's home.

and the time will come when we'll never have to be apart anymore.

we are a done deal, after all.

Oh btw, you were asking about my age right? Well, I was born in 61', year of the ox.

Hope that clears the mystery as to why I know so much about old songs and movies, hehe. :-)

Yo Vina! As they said, absence makes the heart grow fonder so being apart for a short period of time will test your relationship with him.

You have both crossed so many bridges, you'll both crosss the finishing line for sure :P

I admire you for your devotion to Ricky. Maswerte sya, but then I hardly know him, hehe. Not so many guys can get away with "we'll cross the bridge" and still find their partners wanting to cross that bridge together after a good number of years.So many things can happen kasi, considering your.. ehermmm.. beauty.But yes, I believe in destiny.

As an afterthought, it's really good to relish your singlehood now before you two face the bigger responsibility. All the best to you - ajay

eeey, SHIONGE! yes, i'm sure i will miss him a lot, but on the other end, the distance will make us appreciate each other's importance more. we've been apart na rin before, so this is just another walk in the park - that's what we want to think, anyway.

hi AJ! i'm sure he's equally devoted to me as i am to him (i think, hehe). there aren't any doubt nor insecurity in our relationship, Aj - there's so no one else for us but each other. we knew that a long time ago.
